went marina to collect my sis's W850i. the phone that caused alot of troubles for me and my dad, having to make complaints to starhub and its retailers. she finally got the phone, quite nice, but kinda hard to use. Too used to nokia's phone. think i will just stick to NOKIA. anyway, now the price went up to $468! $200 increase, can u believe it? wonder why the prices of phones are increasing. Are they trying to make money cos ppl will think it's cheaper to get new phones before the GST hike?
looking at my sis's phone, is making me wanna get a new phone!!! argh.. sianz sianz sianz.. can the prices drop drastically for 1 day? =))

Eragon. dragon riders, dragons, king, shade. quite nice, with a mild fantasy in it. 1st of the trilogy, and a story written by a 16 yr old kid. the movie could have been longer, if include more parts of the book.

Tenacious D in THE PICK OF DESTINY. Dun ever watch this show if u're the kind who gets easily offended by the "FUCK" word. haha. quite a nice show, at the start, u may think it's a kind of musical show, but not really is. Just half half bah. Highlights of the show: a pretty gal showing off her boobs( but can't really see, it's either quite fast or i wasn't paying much attention =P), the pressing of button which will shutdown the laser security (how he press? use his ermm.. tat thing which can enlarged and expend!!! hahahaha... ). anyway, the songs are mainly rock and quite nice.

Yesterday went to a wedding dinner in Meritus Mandarian Singapore. Quite good i thought but the food is only a "so-so" to me. The waiter can't seems to get home as he keep asking whether can keep the plates and dishes. Anyway, the dinner was an enjoyable one. Jazz band, showing of an indian MTV acted by the couple and frens, teasing of the couple and last but not least, ballroom dancing!!! Quite an eye opener to see those ppl in their 40s, 50s dance jazz, tango, a go go, etc etc. Too bad i didn't have a camera with me. =(
hmm, well, new ideas which can be incorporated into my future wedding? lolz. that will be years years years years away! (*dreaming*)

Cool~ the game has just ended with the host being in the 3rd place! One of the Best match i ever seen. Both countries were fighting for the honour of the 3rd placing and everyone were running to their max. Quite a fast game i would say, the germans did their fans proud!hmm.. well, Brian Miller and Tay Tze Siong managed to predict the score to be 3-1!! well, tat's a payout of $1 to $13.. great analysing by the both of them. IF they bet according to wad they predict, for a dollar they bet, they get back $18.70~~ Guess everyone will be tempted to follow their predictions for the finals? hmm.. well, i onli earned a miserably $3.25.. but winning is better than losing? hehe.. for the fun of it, but never get too engrossed in bettings. Chinese has a saying.. (forget liao) but something about betting will always ended in losses.. watched superman at cineleisure.. nice! no wonder tickets are selling out fast. went to play this mini soccer at the basement where u have to pay $2 to buy some biscuits and then get a chance to kick this mini ball into a mini goal post? lolz.. the prize is 2 tickets to watch the world cup finals in a cinema. think the atmosphere will be good? watching soccer on a movie screen, cooL~ anyway, think quite easy to score leh.. but dunno why still got alot ppl miss? just kick straight lor. anyway, the finals will be 2am. guess i will take off to watch? haha..

yea~ just completed another korean drama. "Full House" = very nice! so funny.. the best part of the show is the bear song! haha.. make me laugh until got problem to stop. well, the story is about this gal, who was duped by her friends, resulted in losing her house to this actor. the whole story revolved around the house, and the gal, suffered alot! Guess this is the 1st korean drama i watched that has very little crying part and alot of funny parts! haha.. great show.. recommend to those who are stressed and busy, cause this can help you to relax~

Anyway, tomorrow going for my 2nd physiotherapy and going to see my doc soon le. hope i will be able to carry on with my duties. Staying at home though is relaxing but boring! One more thing, i dun wan to downgrade!! Doc, pls dun downgrade my PES status k?

1st phsiotherapy lesson today = 6 exercises = 4 stretching + 2 strengthening of muscles in right hand. Although the exercises looks abit simple, but, it will improve my shoulder movement! the doc says my shoulder still very tight. haiz.. dunno when can play basketball! End of week, going back to army and fulfil my duties. So long, dunno if i'm forgotten? haha.. jking..
oh yah, remember something.. why when entering the gates at the control station, the "scanner" is always on the right? lolz, today i was using left hand then i scan at the left side, then the gate on my left open! then i was.. oops, enter wrong side! haha. everyone was looking at me.. =(

hmmm.. nothing much happen just that feeling very numb. perhaps it's due to lying down for too long liao.. Anyway, when i wanted to discharge, upon sitting up, haha.. the room starts to spin around!!! lol..too dizzy and nauseous.. haiz.. cannnot discharged !!!!! stupid!!!! vomitted with an empty stomach and the taste yucks! in the end, left around 6pm and thought everything was fine until i vommitted again in the taxi.. luckily i got a vomit bag, if not, the taxi driver will curse and swear... STUNT of the day: the driver actually make a wrong turn cause he forgot the way...
haiz... how am i going to survive with only a left hand for 15 days!! and with some useless painkillers, which only causes more pain instead of killing pain~~ grrrrrrrrrrrrr.....

safely back from the operation. well, it sucks. Upon reaching the operation room, my legs were like trembling but the doctors were talking among themselves... simply ignoring my existence.. Grrr... anyway, started the operation with a anaesthetic doctor, injecting some fluid into me and tada~~~~~ i was soundly asleep within a min i guess... don't know wad happen during the operation except knowing that i'm in greaT PAIN!!!
think when the operation is done, i'm awake but too weak to open up my eyes... weird leh.. i'm in semi conscious state and they still can ask me to try to shift myself to another bed... pain pain!!!!haaizz.. too pain to continue.. tomorrow then carry on.. tata~

xiong xiong xiong!!! this week was such a busy week! planned the shedule for their OJT on monday but last minute, only did half a day of OJT and was ceased!! wasted my time to plan, haha.. anyway, did 12km route march with the trainees and after that, abrasions arrived to torment me from walking normally.. every step i take, every move i make, every single time, every passing time, i'll be bearing my pain!! haha... thursday was their POP and everything was last minute.. the food came late but we managed to set up the food asap for the guest to feast on~ SLEEPY NOW.... tomorrow shall post about today.. back from tekong!! haha.. hope that will be the last time i ever step into it~ anyway, so sad. 1 whole day and a shellscrape isn't really being dug out nicely, not to say the trench.. guess BMTC outfield exercise isn't that effective for the trainees? anyway, alot of things happened there. Well, this is the whole morale of the movie, "Match Point". Quite disappointed, thought it might be quite an interesting show, but somehow, quite boring to an extent. They will speaking some quite chim english and haha.. takes me sometime to understand! haha.. Anyway, the movie have some interesting scenes, some "sex" scenes.. haha.. just a short "intro" of the whole process, shows alot of different ways of starting that process.. hahaha.. Nola, acted by SCARLETT JOHANSSON is very seductive and pretty. haha.. well potrayed as a girl, whom i think almost every guy on earth will like? haha.. i was also attracted to her but well, good to see and play with, but never good to last. Abit too flirty liao..

The ending of the show was rather bad, or should i say disappointing. Chris Wilton didn't get caught in the end, and had escaped after murdering Nola and her neighbour. Wad a bastard he can be, if such a person really exist, hope he dies. hmm..sounds abit eviL? haha.. as if i care? lolz..

Enough of the show, went cineleisure today and saw alot of people. Maybe i should go town often so that i won't get lost like previous times.. Today got chingay, then alot of people crowding by the roadside. What so nice about chingay ar? so nice to see meh? Anyway, saw 2 gals wearing Kimono in cine.. so kawaii!! haha.. my fren was saying, "eh, go take pic with them" haha.. don't think i have the guts to go ask lor.. 1st time see people wear kimono lor~!!!! haha.. turn out to be due to chingay, thats why..haha..

FULL!!!! YESterday went to IMM's GIANT, and was packed like sardines.. dunno why so many people like to go in the night instead of the day.. spend like 2 hours plus in the GIANT, with most of the time queueing up~!!!!! grr.. anyway, didn't know macdonald opens 24 hrs a day until ytd~ hahaha.. oh yah!! my operation!! haha.. will be on the 17th of march~! quite late.. thought will be halfway through the course.. but too bad.. will be the 1st patient of the day and haiz.. there will be 3 holes in my shoulder after that! haha..

back from 1 week of being an instructor.. quite tiring~~ everyday slept at about 12 plus and have to wake up at around 5:30am!!! then everyday have to settle this, settle that, quite busy! anyway, quite an experience to gain and hope everything will goes smoothly..

SICK~ Now feeling so sick, yesterday just came back from exercise EARTHWORM and realised that i got rashes all over!!! so itchy! haiz.. Earthworm, though i'm excused from digging, but in the end, still got do some digging as can't possibly stand there and do nothing while the rest of my platoon mates are slogging in the forest. Went to see the MO yesterday about my rashes and was forced to stay in the sick bay for about 3 hours cos the doc wanted to observe me after giving me an injection. Partially due to the injection, developed a fever and thus was sent home.
Morning went to NUH to see doc again. This time i was given another injection again! sianz.. now my whole arm hurts becos of the injections i had.. Anyway, the doc at NUH mentioned that it was like an allergic rash but i didn't know i was allergic to something. Had to refer to a specialist to find out more about this rashes... haha.. now currently got 3 different specialist appointments.. Am i really that WEAK and SICK??!!! =((

haha.. me back again.. forced by the EGG.. hmm..yesterday went around the areas at city hall for some national education tour.. haha.. was an informal one but at least it allowed us to book out on a fri!!!! haha.. very "nan de".. let's se.. went, Lem Bo Seng Memorial, Victoria Concert Hall, Raffles Landing site, Asian Civilisation Museum, Fort Canning Park, Civilian War Memorial, Tan Kim Seng FOuntain, Padang, Canotaph... haha.. so many places!! haha..but all just near each other.. ended quite early but got to wait for everyone to finished!! sianz.. Went Pastamania to have dinner and ate the spicy chicken pasta.. but feel that eat pizza is better? haha.. nvm, next time shall try the pizza! haha.. oh yah.. yesterday finally officially ate beef!! haha.. didn't really eat beef last time cos tot couldn't eat.. but ..... haha.. tasted quite weird but still quite okay.. well, Burger King's turkey bacon is nice! but not spicy leh.. they should introduce a spicy one!! haha. then will be very good!!!!!
This week wasn't a good week.. shoulder disjoint again liao.. now more and more serious.. Not onli took a longer time to "push" it back, but took a longer time to heal.. now still can feel the pain!! haiz. have to refer to specialist to see if anything can be done to cure it bah.. =(( Will it be okay?

afternoon~!!! shagged out now. just spent about 1 hour to search for my physics notes for my sis! at 1st, thought everything was lost as not even one piece of physics notes can be found, but luckily, all thanks to my father's sixth sense that lead to the exposure of the notes. haha, guess i'm just to careless and lazy to actually arrange everything in place. well, from this experience, somehow got the feeling of the lost of something important. so, well, everyone out there, treasure wad u can see and have become u can never never find them back again~ back to my usual talk about my week.
Had a major outfield where we can finally put to use of wad we had learn for the past 6 weeks in camp. Quite fun at times especially in the night but very boring in the day. Had very minimum slp but the fact that finally back to camp, i was rather energetic than shagged. then the rest of the week was rather "nua" as nothing much was done due to some unforseen circumstances. Had a friday book out!!! haha.. but was done secretely, escaping the eyes of some very important people. Had to wait for an hour or 2 for the perfect timing to "escape".
well, morning watched "The Myth". Quite nice especially the korean girl!! haha. but nothing was seen. lolz.. if u understand wad i mean.. haha.. The character she acted was noble in the way that she lived for the sake for a guy, whom she didn't even know if he's dead or alive. Where to find such love in this world now? quite touching at the ending but was a sad one cos she refused to leave without the general who has died. Hmmm, will i ever have the good fortune to have such a girl? Nah, guess it will never happen to me bah, why? haha.. cos, my luck has never been that good and don't think i deserve it..
Getting my PSP soon liao!!!! hehe.. on monday!!! hopefully the game i get will be fun to play with.. abit wasted cos can't bring into camp. haiz.. but never mind, don't play in camp lor.. haha.

Today received my SAF BMTC ePosting Order, i'm being posted to SISPEC, (suffer in silence, plus extra confinement)... haha.. no lar.. it means School of Infantry Specialist. Don't know whether i should be sad or happy. Although go there can get another chance to see WILD BOARS, which i failed to see during my BMT, but.. but .. the thought of having to spend another 3 months in tekong is...is.. (aiya, vocab limited, dunno wad to say but is very bad de). YOU, yes YOu lar, u think i should feel happy or sad???

Anyway, today went LIDO to watch Batman Begins. Quite a nice show lar, except the theatre very COLD. Very Very COLd. Was shivering halfway throughout the movie!! Having block leave now, so bored!!! get wad i mean? bored!!!!!! life is boring, boring and boring.... nothing but that...... haha...joking... watch Mr and Mrs Smith, Madagascar recently... quite nice!!! recommend everyone to watch. why? cos quite lame lor. Actually wanna watch the cursed and the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy but heard not nice leh. Anyone watched le and find it nice? hmm...wonder where will i actually kena posted to? Units? Command sch? haiz... command sch like abit hard to enter but more interesting leh. but command sch, SISPEC need to go back tekong, then still have to go field camp etc... abit sianz diaoz... nothing but dirty, muddy, mosquitoes bites, centipides, snakes, spiders, etc. JUngle life abit so...so.. unbearable? lolz. But, but MAN's life is so monotonous (is that how u spell? aiya, dun care) and boring!!!!!!!! haiz... haiz.. so hard to decide. lolz. anyway also not i decide, why should i bother so much? hmm...dun care lar.. just got to wait till this fri then all shall reveal. Today went to the NE tour, not that bad, but not that good anyway. Saw the fake "Johore Battery", which was a 15 inch gun which has the ability to shoot up to 38km!!!! 38km leh!!!! not 38 metres.. haha. Why fake? cos the real one was demolished by the same people who built it, the BRITISH. Weighing as heavy as 45 cars, it can rotate up to about 180 degrees and just by 1 man, with the use of the gears. Great invention huh but useless. Didn't manage to stop the JApanese from invading Singapore.
Next, we went to the Changi Museum. Too many things to mention, guess don't mention better. Go and have a look and u will know. Well, admission is free and u can just take bus no. 29 from tampinese MRT station and alight at the bus stop opposite Changi Museum, ot bus no.2 from Tanah Merah MRT station. (Not promoting this place hor, just that if u wanna know more about the WW2, can take a look bah).
LAst but not least, the neWater factory in bedok! haiz.. speaking of bedok, wad a sad place, forget it. back to topic, the guy giving the presentation is cooL!!!! as in he can really speak. humourous and straightforward, good presentor. wanna learn more about presenting skills? go visit the neWater factory!! haha..

Looking back, many of my "1st time" had happened (don't think wayward hor... ) and well, it's fun. haha. No more sch now yet i do miss sch abit, at least there are frens there, work, and even fun. Life at home is as boring as u can imagine. My onli companion is the computer which has "pei wo" throughout my holidays so far. Good fren sia, lucky u didn't crashed, or else my life will be meaningless ( i'm not depressed or sth lar, and don't ever have the idea that i'm dying hor... choi).

haha...today had an enjoyable day... just cleared some misunderstanding.. and my heart was like... "phew...." haha... anyway, wanna recommend this movie, " The Forgotten".. it's about this mother who "lost" her child due to a plane crash and was mourning for him when suddenly, one day.. all the things related to him disappeared.. including his memories and no one seems to remember him... including his father.. poor thing rite? but luckily.. his mother, still remember him .. but everyone tok she was crazy.. suffering from some mental illness cos no ones knows what she's toking about his son... anyway, it ended up that his son didn't die actually.... he was abducted by aliens with 5 other kids.. lolz.. lame rite? haha.. but it's true lor.. wa.. in the movie.. u can see people suddenly flew into the sky and disappeared.. as if they were being sucked by a vacuum cleaner.. haha.. so fun~ haha.. sadist me? haha..cannot blame lar.. today too happy and crazy le? haha..

Grey rot of strawberries

It is brought about by the attack by the mould Botrytis cinerea. The hypha of the mould requires an entry point into the outer skin of the strawberry. This occurs at 1) small lesions caused by friction abrasion, 2) splits in adnormally developed fruits, 3) definite scarring by parasitic pathogens.
The growing of the tip of the hypha will produce enzymes (pectolytic and cellulases) which attacks the cell walls, comprised of cellulose fibrils in a matrix of pectin. Macerating enzymes then reduces the cell contents to a pulp and the secondary saprophytes attack the fruits.

Taking a break from my studying of food chemistry... Going mad by just memorising all the scientific terms like mesophilic, psychrophilic, thermophilic, facultative etc... argh!!!!! anyway, quite fun... cos u know what some foods are like that...

For example, the souring of milk? lolz.. milk becomes sour becos it contains the bacteria, lactic bacilli, which are enzymes that bring about the breakdown of the lactose into the sour-tasting lactic acid. The pH of fresh milk, is 6.4-6.7 and when it turns sour and the pH reaches 5.2, the milk curdles and the caseinogen is precipitated in the form of flocculent curds. Curdling is hasten by warming and thus milk should be kep cool, in the dark, and sealed. hahahaha... cool rite? haha.. now u know what when u drink milk, and left it in the open, there's a sticky layer on the surface.. haha.. well.. to know more about the grey rot of strawberries and browning of fruits.... stay tuned to.. this blog? haha....

today General Paper... quite an okay paper...hope can pass... at least a C6 can liao... haiz... today made a fool out of myself... so paiseh... after the teachers collected all the paper... all of us were waiting for them to check whether all handed up the scripts when suddenly the teacher call out "whose index no. is 0421??" it was me... i was like "what happened??""... then when i was walking up the stage.. felt that so many eyes were on me.. as if i'm an alien from MArs... it turned up that i wrote my index no. wrongly!!!! can u believe it?? In such a crucial moment of my life and with the entry proof with me... i wrote it WRONGLY!!!!!!!.... haiz... must be out of my mind... maybe too many things to worry and ponder about...that haiz... anyway, hope i didn't wrote wrongly for my practicals... or my results will be gone.... haiz~... well...here is it.. the greatest "gong tao" or blur man of the day....

today chem practical.... came out the double indicator and the "disappearing X" thingy as predicted... made a few stupid blunder.... ARGH~ why is the rate of order of reaction with respect to HCl 1? haiz.. maybe should have plotted the "graph" then can tell.. anyway, i wrote many about solution change colour.. but didn't wrote about the ppt formed? die...don't know what's wrong with me... A level leh... and so many stupid blunders... should have pay more attention... should be able to pass... but not sure can score mah... haiz~ second paper of the A levels.. the 1st was okie.. and the 2nd was not.. hope it won't follow the sequence of "good" then "bad" then "good" etc....

WHY AM I SO CARELESS????? ARGH!!!!!! made a hell lot of mistakes for my F maths paper... what the hell am i doing? even the minor "+" and " - " also mixed up...and in the end, whole question cannot proceed.... damn.... i going to fail my F maths paper 1.... shrucks...... if onli i have been more careful... if onli i didn't watch that jap show till 1:40am in the morning.... if onli i have slp enough... if onli..... so many if onli... and if i have know... might as well go knock the wall instead... if onli... today maths C test...made the stupidest mistake..... ARGH!!!!! all those careless onli sec sch work...and guess i forgotten my sec sch work? haiz..need to "go back" to sec sch le.......haiz... anyway, luckily spot a careless at the last minute and manage to change the ans....or else...gone case le.....
Anyway, while going to sch today....it rained heavily eariler on and a tree toppled!!!!! in the end..the bus had to go a detour so all of us alighted and walked to sch... what a relief.....luckily the tree didn't felled on the bus.... but won't it be nice to experience that? perhaps can help to save me a lot of troubles....

This is my complain letter, it may be lousy but that's the best i can write le...haiz....

Dear Sir/Mdm,I'm Chee Rong Can, from Pioneer Junior College and i would like to expressmy opinion on something which i think the National Library Board shouldlookinto.
As the library is near my home compared to my school, i occasionally willmake a trip down to the library to study. However, i have noticed that eversince the Jurong Regional Library was reopened, it has thus disallowed usfrom doing some self studying. Why is this so? Isn't the library a placemeant for the public to use and a place for us to do some studying on ourown? Why aren't we allowed to bring in some of our notes to study? Asstudents, we do have our own enquires and things that we are not sure aboutand would like to make use of the library materials to clear our doubts andto further enhance our knowledge. However, i feel the libraries are notallowing us to do that. For example, i was doing my own self studying withsome friends and we were approached by the security guard who chased us outof our seats. As members of the public, i felt abit offended for beingchased as we were not making any noise nor we were making a nuisance to thepublic. Thus i do not understand why. Also, to ensure that we have a tablefor studying, we made an effort to arrive about 10-15 minutes early andwaited for the opening of the library. Is that fair for us and those whohave been chased out of their seats?

Anyway, why are the security guards only chasing us, students and not thoseadults? They are also not using the library material and some are evenusingtheir own laptops to do their own work! If self studying is not allowed,then is self-working allowed then? This makes me feel that we, as studentsare being treated as not having the "qualifications" to be treated asmembers of the public and that we are being easily oppressed? I may soundharsh but i do really have that kind of feeling. Not only that the tablesare not allowed for self studying, the seats and benches are even notallowed. I remembered being told once by a security guard that if i want towrite anything, i should get a table instead. But do i have a choice? Allofthe tables have been occupied, and when i told that to the security guard,he mentioned something about whether is his job to get me a table. Is thatthe attitude we should face by them?

I do seriously hope that this matter of not able to self study in thelibraries will be looked into. I do hope that as time passed, we, asstudents are able to have the library as a conducive environment to study,and not having security guards keep patrolling and chasing people out whichis rather disturbing to those who are serious studying. Also, i hope thisproblem can be solved as soon as possible as the prelims are here and the Alevels and O levels are coming. I believed that many students will begrateful if they are allowed to study in libraries as it is quiet andconducive. Yesterday was chased out of my "table" by the security guard, told us that self studying is not permitted in the libraries... then what are libraries for? **** anyway, wrote a "complaint" to the National Library Board through email... wonder whether will they notice it in the 1st place... haiz.. if not, perhaps i should wrote to the government instead and ask them to look into this matter? what the hell lor... not onli we were chased, many people also kena chased out of the table, which we made the effort to arrive early and wait outside for the library to open. shrucks, don't care... complain until they give way...haha... sianz... 3 more days left.... and haiz... prelims are here!!!!! hope i will not flop again... this year's results was never "promising" and how to pursue what i want? must set my priorities now... anyway, saw a dead snake on my way back for GIANT today... hmm... didn't know that snake died with eyes open? eh.... so weird...

today went for the pilot test.... thought i will be late cos it says 8am sharp starts... and i left home at onli 7am... reached there and the person is late... wa lao...ask us don't late and she late? anyway, we took the test at about 8:45am.... It was supposed to last for about 5 hours but finished it in about 3 1/2 to 4 hours... haha.. stupid test... test don't know what use eyes, hands and even legs at the same time? haha... so weird.... anyway, the 2nd last test was erm...... too profound.... give us one instruction manual and expect us to understand what it's wrting? what error code...operational code.....etc... as if we study pilot subject.... anyway, part of the test is somehow like a game... haha.....got score even.... but the game so "waste of time" haha..... anyway, don't think i will be a pilot.... how to be one when i wearing specs? haha... anyway, heard that if u clear...they will "cure" ur eyesight for u...haha...as in operation.... sianz.... now already wednesday.... 4 more days...and sch starts and prelim starts le... what to do? haiz....
